A very special part of my custom work includes Story Rings. These very personal rings incorporate symbols representing the unique life of an individual. Every ring is a one of a kind just as each person is a unique creation. I make these rings using the lost wax casting process. It is very tedious and intricate work. Each ring is individually made out of wax using an alcohol lamp and a dental tool. I call it painting with wax. Many people have Story Rings as their Wedding Rings, others just want a ring that is theirs alone. Often a couple will incorporate a symbol that represents something that they have in common or an interest they both share onto each of their rings and then have other symbols that represent their individuality. The possibilities of symbols are as infinite as the qualities and preferences of each man or woman. Below are some examples of rings that I've made for different people. Rings can be made with gold or stones from your rings or I can provide diamonds or others choices of stones. It's not uncommon for a couple to have their rings each made out of different metals. Any color or karat of gold is possible as well as silver or platinum. Please call for estimates. Story Ring/Wedding Ring orders need to allow a 6 month advance order (it might not necessarily take this long but just in case). They are non-returnable and require a 50% deposit.
