CLASSES :
LOST WAX CASTING / Hard Wax Carving
Class covers sculptural wax carving. Wax model will be cast in sterling silver. Materials provided.
LOST WAX CASTING / Soft Wax Build-Up
Class covers soft wax sheet and wire manipulation. Wax model will be cast in sterling silver. Materials provided.
FABRICATION
Students learn to torch solder, and basic construction techniques such as sawing and filing. Some materials provided.
COPPER ENAMELING
Enameling techniques explored: Sifting, sgraffito, limoges, and stenciling. Projects are kiln fired. Some materials provided.
CLOISONNE ENAMELING
Students make a pendant using cloisonne technique, working with fine silver. Materials provided.
CLASSES OFFERED IN 18 HOUR OPTIONS:
6 Week Class / 6 sessions / 3 hours each
3 Week Class / 3 Sessions / 6 hours each
Entire class in one weekend session
CLASSES ARE HELD AT THE ARTIST'S STUDIO AND LIMITED TO FOUR STUDENTS
Class prices range from $350 - $550.
